Just spotted your posting - we don't update this blog very often.
Hope you decided to take the teaching contract, as Tarifa is a great place all year round. Sure, it's hotter and more fun in the Spring through to late summer but we also love the wild winters and the quiet local life out of season.
I am told February can be a bit bleak but wrap up well and enjoy the wonderful architecture or take a bus ride down the coast and there is stunning natural beauty all around.
